Meet The Marks

The Marks family has rallied around the concept of Grom Social with great enthusiasm.

The family consists of Mom (Sarah), Dad (Darren) as well as six very active children between the ages of 4 and 17 years old. Three of the children are home-schooled through the award-winning Florida Virtual School program and two attend the local elementary school. The family travels worldwide working on Grom Social as well as participating in various surfing events. All members of the family are represented as Gromatars on Grom Social. Each character personifies his or her real life pursuits and adventures. The “Grompound” is home base for the Marks family and doubles as Grom Social Headquarters. Originally located along Florida’s Space Coast, the Grompound has been relocated to Southern California to take advantage of the opportunities in social media and the entertainment industry. This locale provides endless recreational and educational content for Grom Social, as does the active lifestyle of the Marks family and their passion for adventure.

Zach Marks

I created Grom Social when I was 12.

Zach (15) is generally a quiet kid with a wild imagination who loves surfing, skating and motocross. He also loves social media! By the time Zach was 10 years old, he had developed a strong interest in computers, technology and business. He also started attending Florida Virtual School online as a full-time student. Zach is a comedian at heart who dreams big and enjoys making ideas come to life. Grom Social keeps him very busy, but he always makes sure he has time for school, friends, surfing and just being a kid.
